Initially we found it difficult to access the hotel as it is on busy Flamingo, close to the freeway entrance/exit. In some areas, shade could always found around the many palm trees, although over half the pool deck was noticeably without any shade. Three four pools one of which was lovely and warm and one beach side with a semi sandy bottom. I was swayed into booking this hotel because I liked the look of the pool area and that was the best thin about the Rio.
Yes, the room was cleaned well each day but that should be expected.
